What do you need today?

if you knew me at all

What do you want out of life? Is there something you want to achieve that you think is out of your reach?
First, change your mindset.

Instead of dismissing your dream as unrealistic or too big, ask yourself what it would take to accomplish it. Don’t dismiss your dreams; think how you can make them happen!!!
Brainstorm with friends or family. Sometimes they will have different ideas you may not have thought of. Anyone who is not helpful or tries to tell you that you can’t achieve your goal does not get to play!
Develop a plan for achieving what you want in small, do-able steps. Make each step relatively easy to accomplish so you achieve success right away. That feeling of success in achieving each goal will motivate you to reach the next one.

Challenge yoself’

You don’t need to make your entire life a challenge. But at the very least, try to always have something going that stretches you!!! Have fun with it. Maybe something that makes you wonder if you’re actually going to be able to do it. Maybe that’s a project you initiate at school. Maybe it’s learning a new skill and applying it in your lifestyle. Or it could be something outside of school, like organizing a fundraising event or even climbing a mountain.

Have fun with it. Live a little. life-is-too-short-not-to-live-it-up-a-little-quote-1.jpg

November Challenge!!!

Use words that encourage happiness.

– Typically, when I ask someone “How are you?” they reply, “I’m fine” or “I’m okay.” But one lazy Monday afternoon last month a friend of mine replied, “Oh, I am fabulous!” It made me smile, so I asked him what was making him feel so fabulous and he said, “I’m healthy, my family is healthy, and we live in a free country. So I don’t have any reason not to be happy.”

The difference was simply his attitude and his choice of words. He wasn’t necessarily any better off than anyone else, but he seemed twenty times happier.

Spend the next 30 days using words that encourage a smile.
